Paprika (Papurika, 2006) Dir.Satoshi Kon
My most influental/favorite anime list. All of these share stunning and/or intriguing animation style, and many of them have great soundtracks. Storywise they all play with themes that I find interesting and the way they execute them, is thought provoking and inspiring. Most importantly, many of these while clearly using means of what is defined anime, break and mix the formula which I otherwise have grown so tired of.
